The story of DROP
DROP follows a small squad of ODSTS through the some of the final moments of earth’s last stand against the Covenant forces. Anton Svoboda plays a pivotal role in the film trying to find his own footing in a war that has consumed all humans lives. Anton was shunned by most as he was made by politicians a scapegoat from blame for losing earth’s largest colony planet, Reach. Anton escapes a guilty verdict to be brought back into the ODST to serve his “life” sentence.
Moments after he arrives, the Covenant fleet invades Earth. Truce, Diamond, Shaw, Rage, Briggs, and Anton struggle through a series of tough battles testing their cooperation as a squad and their humanity to fight for their survival. Master Chief plays a small part in the film as he makes his way to Voi to find out why the Covenant have invaded to begin with. The Chief saved Anton on Reach in a chance encounter and seems to have a metaphysical connection
